Tim Ide, MMCFC, LPC
Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapist | Attachment-Based Counseling
After a successful career as a process engineer and business owner, I chose to become a therapist following a deeply personal experience. A family member went through a life-threatening crisis and experienced profound healing through therapy. Witnessing the impact of that support inspired me to help others find the same sense of relief, growth, and connection.
I provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families, working with concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, abandonment, and relational challenges. My approach to therapy is integrative and attachment-based, drawing from multiple evidence-informed tools rather than relying on a single method. I believe meaningful progress in therapy is built on mutual trust, respect, and collaboration between client and therapist.
I work to create a supportive, grounded environment where clients feel safe exploring difficult experiences and strengthening relationships. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves and their connections with others while developing skills for resilience and healing.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy riding my motorcycle, camping, and exploring ideas around adventure-based therapy, often combining these interests whenever possible.
Who I work with: My practice serves adolescents, young adults, and adults (ages 15–64).
