Beth Gould, MSW, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I discovered the benefits of therapy when I was in search of tools and resources to process a personal life challenge. Clinical Social Work gave me a framework to understand myself and the world around me, and the capacity to engage more meaningfully in my own life and relationships. We all get stuck from time to time as we confront the realities of challenges within ourselves and the world around us.  I believe beneficial therapy is a safe and empowering space for self reflection, growth, and recovery from loss. Therapy can be useful at many different stages throughout life. My role is to support you in moving through those stages and towards your desired change.

I work from a systems and trauma informed, attachment-based relational lens, and use various therapeutic modalities including Narrative Therapy, EMDR, and Attachment Based Family Therapy.

I grew up in Australia and being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker is my second career after studying classical music and teaching piano for over a decade. When not working, I enjoy quality time with my family and friends, hanging out with my charming but mischievous cats, enjoying nature, hiking, camping, running, skiing, eating delicious food, travel and of course music. I will never tire of beaches in Australia and the rivers and mountains of the PNW.

Opening up to a therapist can be scary at first. My hope is to partner with you as you begin this journey.
