Graduate Student Intern
Who I Work With: My practice serves adolescents and young adults (ages 2-18), and groups.
Availability: Kaitlyn is accepting waitlist clients at our McMinnville location.
I believe we are made for connection and are not meant to go through life on our own. There is strength and healing in feeling seen, heard, valued, and cared for, and I strive to create a space where clients can experience that in a meaningful way.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I take a holistic, integrated perspective grounded in a strength-based, trauma-informed, and attachment-focused lens. I also enjoy incorporating expressive and experiential approaches such as play therapy, sandtray, movement, mindfulness, and parent-child interaction techniques.
I have experience working with children, teens, families, and young adults navigating trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I am especially passionate about supporting youth involved in the foster care and juvenile justice systems, as well as those facing complex, multi-system challenges.
I am currently completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at George Fox University. My background in children’s outpatient mental health has shaped my approach to be compassionate, curious, and transparent, and I feel honored to walk alongside clients in their growth and healing.
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, taking my dog on walks, sewing, and visiting local coffee shops.
I would be honored to walk alongside you as you move toward healing and growth.
